New Release! DJ HIGHLANDERS PRESENTS "SUMMER SONGS 2"
Hello,
Over the past few years you've kindly played some of my songs on your station, and I'd like to thank you once again for giving my music a chance. That's why I wanted to get in touch with you personally.
A few days ago I released my new EP, SUMMER SONGS 2, and, honestly, I believe it's the strongest project I've created in more than eight years of music production. If you enjoyed the songs you played before, I truly think this new release is worth a few minutes of your time.
Below you'll find the official press release with all the details.
PRESS RELEASE
DJ HIGHLANDERS PRESENTS "SUMMER SONGS 2" – FIVE POTENTIAL HITS PLUS A SPECIAL TRACK AIMED AT THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET
With more than 350 released productions and millions of streams across the major digital platforms, DJ Highlanders returns with SUMMER SONGS 2, an EP created to show that an independent artist can deliver an international-quality project while staying true to his own musical identity.
The EP features six very different tracks, all sharing one goal: to leave a lasting impression. Each song was written with a specific audience, musical culture and emotion in mind. It's a project built with the mindset of an international music producer.
1. PORTOFINO NIGHTS (Italian / English)
The Italy the world dreams about. A warm summer night in the famous square of Portofino, surrounded by soft lights, the sea, elegance and romance. A song for listeners who love timeless Italian melodies combined with a modern, cinematic sound.
2. CALIENTE TONIGHT (Spanish / English)
Pure Latin party energy. Spanish and English come together in an explosive summer anthem made for beaches, beach clubs and festivals. A track designed with the Latin American and Mediterranean markets in mind.
3. NEON SAMURAI (English)
The flagship single of the EP. A journey through Tokyo at night, where millions of neon lights meet the ancient spirit of the Samurai. Electronic pop-rock with catchy melodies and a chorus that sticks in your head after the very first listen. An uncompromising international production.
4. LIGHT THROUGH THE CRACK (English / Korean)
The emotional heart of the project. This is the EP's special track.
For the first time in his career, DJ Highlanders sings in Korean. The verses are in Korean, while the rest of the song is in English.
Inspired by the world of K-Pop, the song is also a message of hope for young artists who often face enormous pressure and sometimes lose faith in themselves.
Light Through The Crack tells the opposite story: even through our deepest wounds, light can still find its way in. It's about healing, hope and finding the strength to start again. One of the most emotional and mature productions of the artist's career.
5. GOLDEN HORIZON (Italian / English)
Italian summer with an international spirit. Italian verses blend with an English chorus in a modern, elegant and highly radio-friendly production celebrating travel, sunshine and the horizon as a symbol of freedom.
6. SPANISH (Instrumental)
The only instrumental track on the EP. A composition built entirely around melody, proving that powerful music doesn't always need words to create emotion.
A PROJECT WITHOUT BORDERS
With SUMMER SONGS 2, DJ Highlanders once again shows that he refuses to be limited to a single musical style.
Four languages. Five musical identities. One international vision.
Every track explores a different world, and every production was created with the goal of connecting with listeners across different countries and cultures.
